Wichita Falls MCC is a loving, growing, vibrant community of people. While we have a ministry primarily within the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community, people of all sexual orientations and expressions of gender are welcome here.

Our mission is to be a Christ-centered community of believers. We strive to provide a faith-filled spiritual experience for families and individuals of all ages. Through worship, music, play and service we acknowledge and celebrate God's all-inclusive love. In our world today that is so torn by religious differences, and in our country and city that are so filled with religious-based hatred and homophobia, we believe the ministry of Wichita Falls MCC is desperately needed. On June 1, President Barack Obama signed a Presidential Proclamation for June 2009!

. . ."NOW, THEREFORE, I, BARACK OBAMA, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim June 2009 as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month. I call upon the people of the United States to turn back discrimination and prejudice everywhere it exists."

It is with regret that we announce that Rev Teresa Mallott has withdrawn herself from our candidating process and will be moving in another direction with her ministry. While we are disappointed, we have already restarted our pastoral search process and feel confident that we will find the person that God has chosen to lead our vibrant and growing congregation. In the mean time, Rev Mary Cantrell has agreed to continue as our visiting pastor until we are made aware of God's choice for us. Pastor Mary has been with us since October of 2008, and we are so blessed to have her wonderful messages every Sunday.
