No Day But Today! is a program that brings together both HIV positive and negative people, and that provides a safe and supportive place for people to share thoughts and feelings with regard to HIV in their lives. At group meetings we learn together about the history of HIV in our community, we learn from one another as we share our experiences, we look at how we view ourselves and how we are dealing with issues of the epidemic in our lives, and we share our courage and wisdom through service to others who are struggling with HIV in our community.

Did you know?

People in Wichita Falls and the Texoma region are not immune to HIV and AIDS. While some people are currently seeking treatment for the disease, there are countless numbers who do not know they are HIV positive. Both the number of people who have been diagnosed, and the number of people who are HIV positive who have not yet been diagnosed are continually growing.

As the numbers of those infected with HIV increase, so do the numbers of the friends, family members and partners of people with HIV. This disease truly affects everyone. The hardships of dealing with medications, doctor visits, and moments of total fatigue and stress not only challenge those who are diagnosed, but their caregivers as well. These caregivers often feel as if they have no where to turn to find support. This is why No Day But Today! is for everyone – people living with HIV, caregivers, and the loved ones of those who are HIV+ as well.

What will I have to do?

At No Day But Today! we believe that observation is a valid form of participation. You will never have to do or share anything that makes you feel uncomfortable.

Will I have to give personal information?

No one has to give any information about themselves that they do not want to share. Any and all information that is shared is kept confidential; contact information is used only to keep participants informed about program details and events. All program participants are asked to pledge that they will keep all information shared within program meetings confidential as well. At No Day But Today! we try our best to make our meetings comfortable and safe places where everyone participates in a respectful and caring manner.

When do we meet?

Second Thursday of each month: These meetings are for anyone who is HIV+ and who is looking for support in living life to the fullest with the diagnosis.

Fourth Thursday of each month: These meetings are for both HIV positive and negative people to share together. Women and men, people of all sexual orientations – anyone whose life has been touched by AIDS is welcome.

All meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. There is no charge to attend, and refreshments are provided.

All meetings are held at Wichita Falls Metropolitan Community Church, located at 1401 Travis Street.
